MCCNY puts the “fun” in “fundraising” with its own gay bingo night featuring entertainment by Sybil Bruncheon, cash & prizes. Food available for purchase. Gallery Night

GenderPeople

Green Team

A group of MCCNYers working to reduce our impact on the environment. Hospitality Team

This ministry is two-fold:  one part of the team is responsible for making our social hours abundant, beautiful and efficient while the other part of the team greets people as they enter the sanctuary, assists during the service as the need arises, and helps restore the sanctuary for the next service.  The goal is to put into action the call to be hospitable!

Rev. Pat’s Finishing School for Tranny Girls

Social Justice Organizing Committee

Spiritual Direction Program

A process in which a mentor accompanies one person - the directee - for an extended period of time. Through conversation, prayer, and spiritual exercises, the mentor helps the directee clarify spiritual issues so the individual can move toward a deeper experience with the Divine. Sylvia's Place Shelter for Queer Homeless Youth

Sylvia's Place is NYC's only emergency shelter for LGBTQ youth. Volunteers are always needed to help with cooking, laundry, leading groups, organizing activities, tutoring and more. Video Ministry

The Video Ministry records weekly worship services for broadcast and also produces DVD copies of services, which are available for purchase upon request. Welcoming Team Ministry

The Welcoming Team is dedicated to making initial visits to MCCNY enjoyable for our visitors.
