Inspired by the social justice message of the Gospel, and the pressing need of the hungry in New York City, the food pantry began in 1985.
The food pantry quickly became a member agency of the Food Bank for New York City.
Our bag lunch and People with AIDS (PWA) grocery distribution programs started in 1990.
In addition, we serve an average of 550 bag lunches and 250 groceries per week.
